Lectures and Seminars

The lectures and seminars in Nuclear Medicine are offered during the 6th and 7th semesters as part of QB11: imaging techniques, Radiation therapy, Radiation protection (Bildgebende Verfahren, Strahlenbehandlung, Strahlenschutz). The lectures are included in the joint lecture cycle at Schillingallee, while the seminars take place in small groups at our facility on Gertrudenplatz. Performance is assessed through the final QB11 exam at the end of the semester.

Each group attends six seminar sessions in total. Every seminar includes a lecture, and on four dates, an additional practical component is offered. Group allocations and a detailed seminar schedule with dates and topics are available on Stud.IP. Seminar lectures are held in Seminar Room R26, which is most easily reached via the courtyard entrance. Practical sessions may also take place in the Medical Physics meeting room (1st floor) or in the Thyroid Outpatient Clinic R5 (right entrance area).

For those with a deeper interest in Nuclear Medicine, opportunities for clinical clerkships (famulatur) or doctoral theses are also available at our facility.
